Shipping and Logistics
BELTRAXON coordinates domestic and international equipment transport against the confirmed machine, collection point, destination and contractual scope. Delivery estimates are not guarantees, and final shipping scope and cost appear in the written quotation.
Transport assessment
Planning begins with verified equipment dimensions and weights, collection conditions, destination access, route restrictions, requested timing and the customer’s unloading arrangements. Incorrect or incomplete access, unloading or permit information can change feasibility, price and schedule; the customer must provide accurate details.
Transport methods, loading and securing
Depending on size, weight, route and destination, proposed methods may include container, roll-on/roll-off, flat-rack, road haulage or specialised heavy transport. Loading points, lifting arrangements, machine preparation, packaging, blocking, bracing and securing are defined for the selected method and competent transport provider.
Export documents and customs
Logistics coordination may include commercial and transport documentation, equipment identification, packing information and export support. The contract allocates responsibility for export declarations, import clearance, customs duties, taxes, local fees, licences and permits. Customers must confirm local import requirements with their advisers or authorities.
Pre-dispatch inspection and condition records
Where included, a pre-dispatch review records agreed identification, visible condition, included attachments and available documents before release. Photographs or reports provide evidence within their stated scope and date. They do not replace a specialist inspection unless the written scope expressly includes one.
Scheduling, tracking and communication
Delivery planning considers equipment readiness, carrier availability, permits, port or terminal schedules, border procedures, weather and destination access. Status information is communicated when available, but delays caused by carriers, authorities, weather, congestion, force majeure or other matters outside reasonable control can affect the estimate.
Cargo insurance, risk and title
Cargo insurance is included only when the quotation or contract states the insured party, scope, value, exclusions and claims procedure. Incoterms apply only where expressly stated with the named place and edition. Risk and title transfer only according to the signed contract, not because equipment is listed, quoted, loaded or tracked on the website.
Arrival, unloading and claims
The customer must provide safe site access, suitable unloading equipment, competent personnel and required permits unless the contract allocates those tasks otherwise. On arrival, inspect identification, seals where applicable, visible condition and included items before use. Record and report loss or damage promptly in accordance with the carrier, insurer and contract procedures, preserving photographs and documents.
Restricted destinations and export controls
Supply and transport are subject to applicable sanctions, export controls, end-use restrictions, carrier rules and legal prohibitions. BELTRAXON may decline, pause or require additional checks for a destination, party, equipment type or proposed use. No quotation overrides a legal restriction.
